Forging Asia's
Next Disruptors
We are a new kind of school for the 21st century, built on the belief that young people have the power to shape the future.
Our Story
In The Innovator's Dilemma, Clayton Christensen introduced the concept of a “Disruptor” - a company that starts small but eventually displaces established market leaders through innovation and agility. These disruptors succeed not because they have more resources, but because they think differently and move faster.
The staff behind YA want more young talent in Asia to have a shot at becoming Disruptors, by creating a similar environment that encourages exploration, hands-on projects, and real-world learning.
“We believe in nurturing the next generation of Asian leaders who will reshape industries and build a better tomorrow.”

Building Tomorrow' Leaders
About Our Logo
This logo, which is set on a beige pink background, was designed with simplicity and symbolism in mind. The “Y” and “A” letters serve as the acronyms of Young Asians, with the design of the puzzle piece symbolising our project's ideals of learning and solving problems. Meanwhile, the two cogs at the side serve as light but effective ornaments to the words, symbolising our project's ideal of change and progress. The yellow colour symbolises energy and optimism.

Our Vision

Our Mission
“A new kind of school, one that's decentralised, fast and collaborative.”
Our Values
These core principles guide everything we do at Young Asians, shaping our community and defining what makes us unique in our approach to developing future leaders.
Agency
Our core value. It is the idea that you can just do things, often without the need to ask for permission. We believe young people have the power to create meaningful change when given the freedom and support to act on their ideas.
Openness
It is a willingness to adopt new ideas, beliefs and practices, as well as a genuine friendliness towards people. We embrace diverse perspectives and create an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive and contribute their unique strengths.
Resilience
We are champions of the fail hard, try harder approach, in which failure is not a concern but a stepping stone to growth. We build the mental fortitude to persevere through challenges and emerge stronger from setbacks.
“These values aren't just words on a page—they're the foundation of how we build relationships, tackle challenges, and create lasting impact across Asia.”
